Sandra Beck has worked with the United States Marine Corps for over 20 years, providing entertainment for troops in the US, Iraq, Japan and Afghanistan. Her company has handled numerous military clients and both fully support the Toys for Tots campaign raising over 15,000 toys.
Sandra Beck is the single mother of two active boys, ages 3 and 6. She resides in Los Angeles, California with her four rescued dogs.
As the Executive Deputy Director, Ms. Smith oversees three of NACCRRA’s divisions: National Programs; Policy, Public Affairs & Evaluation; and Organizational Advancement. She is directly responsible for strategic planning, organizational development, program development, and division operations. She also participates in the establishment of programs, policies and legislative agendas that seek to improve child care across the nation.
Ms. Smith joined NACCRRA in October 2003 as the Director of Operations. Prior to joining NACCRRA, Ms. Smith worked more than 30 years with the Department of Defense (DoD). She spent 20 years designing and developing automated logistics systems for the United States Navy and has 10 years of experience in military family support. Ms. Smith also has experience as a DoD contracting officer.
Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from National- Louis University.
